Black Women and Men have always been memory keepers, riots, story tellers and historians of their families, genealogies and communities. Yet they have been rarely called upon as authorities in the creation of their own histories and stories.
The Black Student Advising Centre in collaboration with the James Robinson Johnston Chair will be hosting Juanita Peters and Donna Lee (Byard) Sealey who are film makers and community historian respectively in conversation as they will enlighten the audience with visual, oral, and textual presentations of diverse topics.
